Know little about this other than it's a "Made in Britain" biscuit barrel, made of Treen Oak, with an impeccable ceramic liner. Others (that don't quite look like mine) have been dated from the 1910's to the 1930's.
Love to hear if you have any other info to share!

Thanks, brunswick and antiquerose. Have done the same and have been struck by the diversity of types, styles, ages, etc. of these "biscuit barrels." And haven't seen one like mine (in google images, at least), but some close. Until I acquired mine, I had never heard of such a thing. Now trying to decide how to make use of mine. Thanks again!
