Striated Agate Snuff Bottle

When I first started collecting snuff bottles, I didn't truly appreciate agates. That has completely changed! I now find them fascinating.

The white banding on this bottle and the translucent crystalloid areas are very striking. The bottle is not as well hollowed as I would hope, yet it appears to be an older bottle.

And the stopper is even better - made of coral with a genuine pearl!
