I am trying to help a friend get some information on this glassware.. He and I have never seen this before. His first thought was sandwich glass..not quite Duncan Miller.. or Anchor Hocking if anyone can shed a light about this piece it would be much appreciated. I am going to keep looking around in the internet.

it's known as a 'Tree of Life' tilting water pitcher and handled tumbler, and is thought to possibly be made by Aetna Glass Company.

Corning Museum of Glass also theorizes the make as possibly Belmont due to the patent holder. The date would be c1880s

only that patent is not an exact match to this one. so not sure why Corning has made that attribution. here's the patent pdf showing a bit different piece:

several companies made very similar EAPG 'Tree of Life' patterns. Without a catalog or patent to this specific piece it's impossible to definitively attribute at this time.

I can see how it would be a problem to really identify who it really belonged to with out some sort of record that had been passed down threw the ages.. Thanks for all the info.. I am still learning and boy is if fun..lol
