    This has been in my family, I remember it sitting on my dad's roll top desk when I was a child. Is it what is called a candlestick phone? The patent information takes up two photos, am I reading it right that it dates to 1920? The receiver part is different from others I have seen, you put it on your head.

      This is a railroad phone. That is why it has the headset receiver.
