Again... The mysterious maker's mark...
A seasonal holly leaves motif :-)
4.5cm or 1.3/4" long.
Marked 925 and the now famous for you ;-)
"etruscan urn" mark.
I situe it in 1910 era, so, an antique.
As all pieces with this mark, the pastes are set, not glued and the craftsmanship is wonderful, the leaves have a very natural design.
I buy these when I can, otherwise gather them on a Pinterest board under the name "mysterious maker etruscan urn mark".
Thanks for your interest in my quest for identifying this maker ;-)
................. :-)))))))
I wonder if it is something other than an Etruscan urn, and nobody can find it because we are looking in the wrong place. Surely someone, SOMEWHERE, must know what this mark means.
Lol, Bonnie, a squid, a potted cactus, a flaming pot, lots of ideas :-) Thank youuu!
Thanks too for the loves, Fleafinder and Thomas
Very pretty!!!
A crowned somthing or other.
Just beautiful Pascale, I really love this one despite that wretched maker's mark LOL!! :))
Martika, Oroyoroy, Judy, a very late thanks!
Vetraio, thank you for your suggestion, I searched... nothing by now!
