Hello fellow collectors, Just purchased this old lamp today at the goodwill. Could use some help with most details. The lamp stands 16 inches tall with two owls and two medallions on a chain type motif. Great details on all brass work. Nice flowers. It's just looks like a master ceramic maker. Lots of gilding throughout. No maker marks that I can locate. Any and all comments are appreciated. Thanks for looking!

Thanks Master for the nice comment! Guessing the lamp is either Greek or Italian made. Any and all guesses are still welcomed and encouraged.

Hi, I saw a piece like this today. It looked like an urn.
I'll go back and look at the markings on the bottom. I'm thinking about buying it. It's gorgeous. The guy wants 50.00. Said he took it somewhere and they appraised for about 200.00. I just want to know about its origin.
