    Acquired at auction and trying to identify the number scratched onto the bottom.
    It looks like B437

      The number is a production code.

      It would have to be between 1933 when the company began and 1979 when production ceased. Perhaps somebody has an index of the production codes somewhere, but I don't know. Nice vase!

      B stands for vase... apparently the numbers are sequential. I read an article that mentioned the 1954 catalog stopped at B620... so I would say between 1933 and 1954... maybe just post WWII?
