It is a very interesting loose abstract zippered décor. I would be interested in any thoughts about the 2 marks - CZECHOSLOVAKIA and IMPORTÉ DE TCHECOSLOVAQUIE.
That and the ribbed effect produced by radiating opaque pulls up from the base through a less opaque white ground.
It is 16.3cm high and uv doesn't light it up.
I am stuck so unsolved at present.
Ruckl Ball Foot vase, in white with some pulled spatter. Only recently have included white decors to the Ruckl family of interwar decorative glass. Time does evolved your knowledge with more glass piece examples to support it.
Not convinced this is Ruckl without seeing some form of supporting evidence. Claiming they also made white glass is simply a little too vague..... This is also a different shape yet, from the many variations you claim are all made by Ruckl.
Just to clarify the basis of my doubt, I am adding a link to an image I have put together. In the image, all of the examples are said to be the same shape by Rückl, now being called a "Rückl Ball Foot Vase".
Although I do believe that there can be some minor variations in shapes from the same house, my experience is that those differences are generally noticeable, but slight.
In the case of this image compilation, the differences in these shapes are such that I find it unreasonable to declare them all to the same shape by the same company.
I posted about this shape over 4 years ago in this forum. In light of this new claim, I thought that I would address it again.
