Having seen some of George's work in some of the groups on facebook, I was happy to see his Kickstarter project get funded, so that he could get his new hot shop running again. Having now taken delivery of two of the treasures he has been busy churning out, I have to say that George is a glassmaker who gets it - all the details that collectors love are here - tactile sensation, attention to detail, subtlety and depth of color, and perfect proportions. From the perfectly ground and polished bases, legible signatures, (!) and a true artist's use of color and composition, these two are immensely satisfying. This is not surprising, considering his influences - Tiffany, Loetz, Steuben, Lotton - he truly gets it, and I am pleased to show off my new treasures and recommend to anyone who loves great glass to check him out!

The pieces here are a Sunset vase with applied flowers and vines, and an internally decorated "Dragon scale" vase in deep blue. Thank you, George, and keep up the great work!
