      It is beautiful, but it does look like the hole was drilled after the pot was made. The edge is sharp and usually you will see glaze drips especially if the inside was glazed too.

      Thanks maryh1956! I had no idea I assumed it was made that way well I know very little about this item,I got this piece out of a storage auction I bought.
