The drawing for this Hoffmann's lidded box is kept at the Wiener Werkstätte archiv at the MAK (the museum of decorative arts in Vienna). It's signed by Josef Hoffmann and was made prior to 1923.
It's a rarely seen design. so far we've just seen a simmilar one in the catalogue of a Sotheby's auction in 1986.
The last pic shows another lidded box by Hoffmann made around 1921-1922.
