My son bought a house and this beautiful desk was left behind. I am curious as to its age and maker. Any help would be appreciated.

It looks like it is mid century. That type of leg was stylish in the 1950's and 60's. It could be earlier, just a guess.

Can you get a better photo of the label please? Doesn't get much better than a free Danish(?) mid century modern teak(?) desk. Perhaps just the way it's lit, but does the top have some issues with the finish? (no pun intended)

What a gift! Hope they don't come back for it.

Isn't "possession 9/10ths of the law?"

I have added a better pic of the stamp, however the pic is from Pinterest. My nr number is different but the stamp is the same. All I have found out so far is it is from Sweden. Haven't found out who the maker is. :(

And yes, possession is 9/10 of the law. :)

Thank you so much for your help! Yes, it was made in the 1950's by SMI. Mystery solved. ??????
