In 1996 the VA asked my Uncle Frank to give his account of WWII in a short story. There are 16 pages here and he really did a great job in his usual style of art. Funny thing was, all the years I was growing up, never once did I hear my soft spoken uncle cuss... haha this short story certainly makes up for it ;)
I do hope you are able to see the full photos when you click on them and they are able to be read.
I want to say thank you to all our veterans and families here for your service. If it weren't for you, we wouldn't be here as we are today!
