candle holder?

I found this at a local thrift store. I like odd things and this definitely caught my eye. It's purpose is to hold two candles. It appears to have some kind of Masonic sybilitry to it or knights of the Templar. Made of bronze. It has a first appearance of being old but upon further inspection is just made to look that way. None the less I couldn't pass it up. Just wondering what someone might pay for something like this? Also open to ideas as to what it might represent or be besides a candle holder/ wall sconce. It measures approximately 12" wide and 24" tall.
