This pair are in the décor called Pastel Découpage, a décor that is relatively uncommon. Each has a snapped off pontil.
I've recently become interested in Welz glass that doesn't have the ornate rigaree, but at the same time isn't in a shape or décor that woud classify it as Art Deco.
Height 21.5 cm/8.5 inches
This is such a beautiful colour combination...:-)
Thank you, Penny, I think so too! I hope your coffee is/was good :)
Love this Welz!

Thanks scott, me too......couldn't pass it up :)
These are great..... I knew where these would land also.... LOL
Love them!
Thanks Craig, they don't come along very often so......
Thank you, Ian, why am I not surprised :)
Cool, I saw these too Peggy and I thought to myself - not being a Welz collector per se - that they were right up your street, and expected to see you with them on here shortly - and hey presto!!! Very nice indeed.
I love the colours of these!
Hey, Phil, it seems I'm an open book! Pleased you like them :)
Hello, courtenay, this décor is liked by several people just that reason :)
These are so pretty, sklo! Like a lot of Easter candy shards! ;)
Hi Michelle, and thanks. It is Pastel Decoupage as you well know, but in this instance the characteristic cobalt blue 'patches' are merely 'streaks' :)
These are so nice Peggy! I'm not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to Welz glass, and I've never seen this decor before... It's different and I love it!
Rick, apologies and belated thanks. You are however so very knowledgeable on areas about which I know nothing.....and this shows in your comments!
