Does anyone know what this little metal box is for? Is it a pill box? a snuff box? or was it used to keep a pocket watch in maybe?
I bought it at a French brocante and underneath it has the writing Martres et Bijoux le Coulter Nyon.
it is very well made and also has an impressed shape on its base. I would be well grateful for any more info?
