This is a a very unusual necklace. The pendant can be turned around, using the very strange mechanism connecting it to the rest of the chain. The necklace and the chain are embellish with abalone inlay. There are no marks whatsoever.
The necklace cleaned up like sterling but I am not sure about it.
It has a modern feel; maybe around the 1970's?
My first guess was that it could be Mexican but I have never seen something like this before.
Thanks for looking:)
Gee, that's really something!
Yes, Efesgirl, that's what I thought, too, when I saw it:)
Many thanks for loving it:

It is really lovely Freiheit !!
Great! The clever system allows to show either beautiful face without taking the necklace off
preety indeed
Thanks so much for your comment, TassieDevil:)
Kyratango, I agree, the system is really cool. It somehow reminds me of mid-century modern Scandinavian jewelry - but the finishing looks really Mexican to me LOL
Thanks for your comment, kivatinitz:)
yeah that's definitely the same house as mine. too bad it's not marked! lol
Well, Greatsnowyowl, maybe we find a third one here with more information. You never know....
