Love the way the Chinese used the different colored areas of the stone to create a work of art.

This one is a light beige stone with a rust colored skin that was carved into two buddhist lions playing with a ball.

It's well hollowed and has a concave base.

      Masterful.
I am loving all of your bottles. I admit since you have been posting I have looked at some for sale but have decided not to. I don't know enough to really know what I'm buying :).
I'll stick with my glass for now .......

thanks you guys! Racer4four when I first started collecting I bought a lot of junk that I now regret buying and can't get rid of, so I would recommend your first purchase be a book. A good one to start with that is also inexpensive is Lilla Perry's Chinese Snuff Bottles - https://www.amazon.com/Chinese-snuff-bottles-Lilla-Perry/dp/B0007DO1LO
