This was found in an abandoned store on a friends property. It has no motor is more a very large ice chest...about 24 deep, 66 long and 34 or so high. the back is open with a slate bottom and the inside is metal trays with removable double lids. it is pretty worn but would love any info on it. we have had it for a while and love it in our covered patio for parties, conversations starters etc. wondering if it's worth fixing up?
It would have to be a labor of love. It's big and bad (in a good way!). Size is Giant. Maker likely Westinghouse or Cavalier. Collectors tend to go for the smaller versions, Junior or Master. Some people repurpose these beasts by turning them into sofas. Again, if you're talking monetarily, it would take a lot to restore, with backside potential unknown. Here's a helpful resource created by our CW buddy toolboxted, might help you nail down maker and age.

Thank you very much for the great information. We really like this and want to fix it up but don't want to loose the charm and character of it. This is good and helpful info we appreciate. We are going to try and barter work with skilled friends to see if we can get some work done on it without breaking the bank while keeping the history and character of the machine. Just wanted to ensure we know the most about it that we can, and didn't want to do anything to it that would be a big NO NO or di-track from it. Many thanks.
I have the same machine. It took me almost a year to restore it with a beer keg in it .
