    I bought this on line because I found it so interesting. I would like to know more about it. It was advertised as a vintage cookie mold. Measures 5 3/4 x 15 1/2. I know the picture is not great but it has not been delivered yet. Thank you.

      These are very tricky. Some were actually cookie/cake molds made to use, but many many reproductions have been made and China is cranking them out right now, and has been for 10 or so years. I see them advertised as "antique American Springerles" all over the place, but it obvious they are contemporary repros from Asia. I cannot see this one clear enough to judge. It looks like it may be some kind of 70's wall plaque however. not sure.
