I bought this pretty glass swan bowl today, to add to my collection. Can't actually find one similar. The nearest I can find is Romanian glass! Has anyone got any suggestions?

I doubt it's Japanese; that's all I know sorry!
Well it narrows it down a bit! Thank you.
I'm pretty sure it's murano glass or in the style of it at least. If you type murano swan bowl into eBay you'll see many very similar. Hope this helps
Thank you Richierobs, I did check out Murano, but there are very few with the splatter glass effect, and I also tend to take descriptions of objects on eBay with a pinch of salt! Unless it has a label on it it's pretty difficult to know for sure where they are from.
I know what you mean.Anyway my thoughts are Italian,& more than likely Murano.I had the same bowl before & can & have seen many on eBay. All the best :)
She's a cute little swan Adele. I don't know how big it is, but if it's tiny it could possibly be a salt. The base is one that you'd typically find on Chinese "Muranos", so I believe it's Chinese.
It's not tiny! Probably 5" long. I like the thread of blue going up the neck. Thank you for the input. The Chinese do like to make a bit of everything don't they?
Beautiful swan! :) This might help a little... http://www.ebay.com/gsr/i.html?_nkw=authentic+murano+glass&rt=nc
