    I believe it is an axe sharpening device. Probably made from cast iron or steel. Has 3 rivets. Measures 4x4 1/2x3 1/2"high. Appears to be very old.

      Looks like a jewelers ingot mold. Casts a thick sheet for a rolling mill.
