This table was my grandmother's who lived in NY at the time, late 1940's-1950. How can I tell if it is a chippendale or reproduction?

It is chippendale style and you also have to remember that coffee tables are after 1920 or so, as only then did were they "invented" and came into style. This beautiful copy came about around 1950 or so. Its a beautiful piece.
