    Unusual little vase I decided to post this one too to see what people thought. Its about 5 1/2 inched tall 3 inch across with a basket design at the bottom with a plant design going around it. and other shapes not signed. Any help would be great . Not my area of collecting But I liked the look of it and that its old

      Looks like there’s some sort of black lettering on the base near the unglazed squiggly area, rare my eyes playing tricks me? Can you check with a magnifying glass or take a close-up photo of that area in natural light?

      Its just the glaze playing tricks on you nothing there. problem when pieces are not marked hard to figure out.. Its a early piece probable Ohio pottery

      The color green, reminds me of the color used on corn of the cobb items, made by Shawnee, and posibbly Mc Coy, has crazing, is for sure 40 or 50's piece, looks neat.
