I got this necklace for 100yen (1$) at my favorite flea market, where it was packet into a tiny plastic zipper bag . I just loved the beads' color and texture and its "ancient" look and was planning to recycle parts of it into a new handmade creation. It is quite heavy, the chain might be brass plated bronze or something alike. I'm a beginner so it's difficult for me to estimate the manufacturing period as well.
I only noticed the Monet tag much later and I was a little surprised to find such a tag on a knotted beads necklace. Did Monet make knotted necklaces? So I don't fully trust the authenticity of this necklace, but I do like it all the same. I would love to get your feedback, thank you!
If the tag is there, its probably authentic? The quality seems to be good to me as well! I would wear it as it is., its very nice and wearable!
