Years ago, I had long hair and collected antique hair pins and combs.
I had recently the luck to come across this one, with an amazing Art Deco stylised fishes decor.
Price was the same as I'd get it 20 years ago :-)
Real blonde turtle shell, in pristine condition, few pastes missing, but not noticeable!
10cm or 4" square.
Maker's mark :
C/clover/B, 3 five pointed stars under.
French boar's head hallmark.

Found the maker, Charles Beaufils, registered in 1903, and another piece from him:
