Is this an antique, if not can someone tell me around what time was it made? The round top looks as if it is made of two pieces, it's in very good condition, the screws are flat head screws and the table has 5908 underneath. Very sturdy table!!!
It could be a newer reproduction of around the 1950's but hard to tell from photos. It is beautiful !
Thank you, I think it's beautiful too! How can I tell a reproduction from an original?
It is more modern-- probably mid 20th century.
The stencil marking and screwed block under the top are all indicative of something more modern.

Sometimes it is hard to tell, as some reproductions of furniture are made to fool and some are not, there still are a lot of makers out there who make this kind of furniture in their catalogs to the furniture stores. Only some furniture stores sell this kind of traditional design in their store.
Ok, thanks you!
