It measures 16 x20 I was able to find the makers mark on line as unidentified

Sorry to tell you this, but I’m afraid that this is a newer piece made in China, which was made to look like older English transferware pieces, with an intentionally vague mark
It is still a lovely decorative platter, but I, personally, would not use it for food, as you don’t know if the glazes used have any toxicity.
maryhi956 - Good Information, I will remember this when I'm out hunting. Nothing is sacred anymore, there are copies of everything! It's better to know than to use it for food and become ill. I have heard of that.
That is true shareurpassion Another to look for is that older pieces that had similar stamps, if they didn’t have the name, their initials would be incorporated into the backstamp, and after, I think, 1890 the country of origin was also required on pieces
