Obtained this Mobo pedal car and restored it with the police patrol livery.
It has now been exported to Perth Australia.
The usual area that tends to split was across the windscreen and steering wheel was reinforced with fibreglass. This makes it strong. I made a metal windscreen which is strong enough for the car to be picked up without damaging the bodywork.

Incidently, the tyres are new which I make from reinforced nitrile fuel hose. These make a very satisfactory replacement for the hard to get originals and can be made any size using a smaller diameter insert and superglue to join the ends. Made to a slightly smaller diameter than that of the wheel, they stretch to fit and are very satisfactory, giving a little cushioning to the ride.

Nice! What about the blue hood lights? Are they original? I see they can light up! LOL -my grandmother's phone number was 6331. 621-6331.
