I think these ornaments are pretty cute - but I could find nothing similar to them online. They are well made of fine porcelain.
The ornament is the size of a hen's egg. A delicate stem with hole is provided on top for hanging. There is a ring base on the bottom to elevate and balance the egg if displayed on a table. It measures 3" high and is 1-1/2" wide. The opening is 2" high by 1-1/4" wide. The ring base is 1" wide.
Am hoping a subscriber to this list might recognize them.
Thank you for looking - and for any input you can provide!
Pam
They are very top of the line I'm at a loss at the moment, to remember the maker .hallmark goes way back as for many of the well known makers of kink knacks but the was a company that did alot of really cool things that have the egg shape. .I ? At least 1950s

Hi there. I am trying to find these very dioramas, and more like them with various animals and hand painted backgrounds. Do you still have them? We have 1 like it with a ceramic fawn/deer and it is absolutely beautiful... It is my adult daughter's favorite ornament from Christmases past. I am trying to locate more to create a collection for her. Please google ceramic deer diorama and it will pop up for you to see! :) Please post back and let me know what you think of it! :) Thanks, Paula
I should add that I know nothing about them as our little deer is unmarked also... However, thru researching it, I did find the very same diorama as our little deer but it's not an ornament. It sits on a porcelain stand and says "Disney" across the bottom. Maybe that will give you some insight to what your cute little dioramas are too! :)
