Found this little "Elvis" watch ? No idea if the box is original or the guarantee but it's really clean and the flower moves happily back and forth. My mum thought it was hideous at first but is now a favourite ha ha.
Very interesting winding stem placement, looks very much like an earlier unauthorized Israeli Mickey I've seen.
I should have said, unauthorized, Swiss made, sold in Israel.
1970's unauthorized "Hippy" style Mickey. Import item from Southern Asia
Oooo we are multicultural. A Swiss Israeli from Southern Asia !!!
LOL, Wandlessfairy, These pieces were pretty common, back in the day. The movement were Swiss made, exported to Asia(Taiwan, Malaysia, Hong Kong ect) and assembled with dial produced there. Then sent around the world to various distributors to be sold. The Israeli watches were produced by mainly Rega, this watch resembles those, but not one. Today these watches are commonly called "Hippy" Mickeys.
