I found this old ricking horse buried at the back of my grandfathers shed and unfortunately i know very little about it if anyone could help?it is about 1 meter tall and has obviously been adored by children but no one in our remaining family does not remember laying eyes on this before.

Very nice.....Not a rocking horse as I see just a flat base on it. Carnival horse ? Is it wood? Is there a hole at the top of the mane for another pole to be held in place? Is there a place for where Wheels might have been on the bottom? is that other wood piece at the bottom attached too?

One thing that does concern me with just a quick peek with only these 2 pics, is that....IF it was some sort of kids ride thing, then the saddle should have wear where the butt rests..............and where the kids legs would rub on the saddle -- but I do not see that wear on the side of the saddle. So that kinda raises a bit of a flag for me. See what others have to say. You can still post 2 more pics in this post..............and if you want to post more pics, just start a part II of this post with some more pics. This will definitely need some research as to what you have there!
