      I believe they are ambrotypes, but not for sure :)

      Nice mid 19th century images. They would all date from about 1855- 1870. I don't see any dags-- they all look like tintypes or ambrotypes.

      Size makes a difference in values. I would assume that most are sixth plates about 3 1/4" X 2 3/4". These typically bring about $8- $15 on ebay.

      The smaller image would bring more since it is in a full thermoplastic case. Most of the value would come from the case. It is hard to evaluate without a photograph of the outside. Condition also plays big part on these cases. If it is exellent shape and a typical geometric case, you are probably looking at $25- $45. If it is an unusual/ rare case then the price may be significantly higher.

      If these images are larger than what they appear the value would also increase.
