Hello everyone.
Bought this a few years ago and every time I look at it I wonder what was I thinking.........not really me at all!!
Marked both 375 and 9ct for gold with an unidentified maker's mark.
It is a really "out there " ring with the very unusual high goldstone setting!
No real idea as to how old it might be, but i would hazard a guess at 1980s big and flashy.......
Interested to hear your thoughts on this one, thanks Judy.
its stunning Tassie!!
Thank you Sean! Glad you think so!
I have these cufflinks here with aventurine ...

Thanks Rose......they are nice and chunky looking aren't they. I love cufflinks and have a pair to match this ring! (not posted yet!)
Well, that's an interesting ring! It's not me, either. :-)))))
Oh Bonnie lol, that's my kind of comment!! love it.
Haha, Bonnie and Judy, not me either ;-)
I'd say your ring is older than 80', these high "basket" galleries settings were in favour in the 50'
I missed out on one like this last year. I didn't think it was real, and when I realized my mistake, someone beat me.... I am still angry with myself.
Oh good Pascale, knew you didn't like high rings either.....welcome to the club with this ring!! It is a good example to have for the style I guess!
Did you really Freiheit....what a shame, I have not seen another like mine since I bought it in 2013 at a local market.

1. It's a good example of aventurine glass
2. I like the setting
3. It's gold
