This is part of my $9.00 haul today. I was going home from the store and spotted this "Huge Sale" sign. You know the kind, about a foot square, with letters about 1" tall. How do they expect people to read that at 55 mph? Anyway, I did U-turn and managed to read the address.
It was well worth the trip, this is only part of what I picked up.
Not a bad day.
Looks like you did quite well for $9.00!!
hi packrat..curious whats the oldest book in that lot?:))))
There a some nice book in that box, great score.
Fleafinder -my guess would be the Audel's Wiring Diagrams book.
Thank you very much fortapache, PhilDMorris, ho2cultcha, TassieDevil, Caperkid, bijoucaillouvintage, officialfuel, JImam, jscott0363, fleafinder, rockbat, ravage60, walksoftly, Radegunder & vetraio50.
Actually the oldest book here is a Masonic Book, The Moniter, Crocket, Texas 1856.
woah...how precious must that be! the one that caught my eye is definitely the one on the left end of the box -"The Victorla Book of the Opera"-seems an interesting n fine book:) is it from the victorian era?
