I'm in love with a Czech filigree jewellery, this necklace is the new addition to my small collection. At least I think it was made between the two world wars in Czech Republic - similar necklaces on the net are attributed to the 1920s, 1930s era. It has wear, but the rhinestones are just too sparkly... They look like cubic zirconia stones, which are commercially produced from 1976. Any thoughts are appreciated.
Beauty! Just the right combination of sparkle and wear.
Just lovely Martika!
Amazing piece
Thank you Bijoucaillouvintage, TassieDevil and Master for your nice comments, they are very much appreciated !!! :)
Big thanks to everybody for the love clicks and stopping by!!! :)
Delicate and sparkling, lovely addition :-)
Rhinestones are very bright when the back coating is intact!
Thank you Pascale !!! :)
I can't see how tall the rhinestones are but the metal settings are painted to look old. The way they are connected is what we normally see on recent "inspired" pieces.
Thank you Davyd286! Please can you clarify bit more about the 'connections'? I would love to learn!!!
All the components for this necklace are available at jewelry /craft supply stores and sites. I bought some filigree pieces two weeks ago.
