I got this necklace at my favorite flea market for 200yen (2$) including the velvet case. The beads are probably made of bakelite, nothing of great value, but I fell in love with the warmth of the tones and the simple design. It's quite a short necklace, I've been wearing it in duo with a long and thin golden chain, it looks great. Maybe 1970's or 1980's?

It's pretty, but I don't think it's Bakelite.
Thank you so much for the love and comments! You guys are right. After researching a bit more about bakelite (which I should have done before) I don't think it is bakelite either. I do have problems identifying the material, it's on the heavy side.
