hi we have here an early medicine cure in aquamarine flared lip cross hinged mould a very rare crude example with remnant's of medicine
date 1860s 1870
Lowes Balsam Prepared By Taylor Gibson Newcastle
North East British Isles
first piccy when dug up in Newcastle
Your pictures make it look like it's a rounded lip, not flared.
hi spirit bear dicey daffys in added picture shows a rolled lip thanks
The Dicey looks tooled and the Gibson looks rolled or possibly tooled (Go figure. LOL). Of course, seeing it in person would clear it up for me. Perhaps my screen resolution is just poor or the angle is being misjudged by my eyes.
Is it snowing there too?
hi spiritbear i think its just a case of different use of terminology
piccy taken a while back
