The blue in this dish is just so beautiful and I love the controlled bubbles. As usual I scored it at the GW so I do not know much about it. I have seen similar pieces that are Murano, but I really do not know for sure.

Isnt that what they call gold fleck either morano or possibly blenko?? Bullicante glass??

I think this is Japanese - I have some very similar and the double ground base is so them, not Murano. It's gorgeous.

I agree as I do not think it is Murano -- as I had posted here on CW a Blue art glass something like this with a label on it that suggested Possible Japanese rather than Murano. See if I can find my post.......

So I agree with karen that your Bowl looks to be in the Style of murano. I verify believe that it is Japanese. What are the measurements of yours compared to my blue one posted ?? Just wondering.....

Yes antiquerose the measurements on my bowl are pretty much the same, it appears that you are all right. Thank You so much for your help ! I have much to learn so everyone's input is greatly appreciated !!
