Fixed and put back together.
Dovetailed together, hand carvings.

Do you have a photo of the top door open, this looks like a telephone stand for a candlestick telephone. if you open the top door is there a hole in the back for a line cord to fit through.
I can get one. When I found the desk it had no back. I had to fabricate one.
