Midcentury modern bar stool pair

These belonged to my parents. I am 51 yrs old and I remember them in my childhood home and seeing them in Christmas photos dating back to 1966. I do not know if they are Eames, although the resemblance is striking. I do not how know to tell. I think they are so cool, and I'm keeping them. But do you think they are valuable? The black part is some kind of leather or leather imitation and is unblemished. The curved wood legs have been banged up over the years. I remember my mom making me "dust" them as my kid chore. They used to have plastic protector brackets that sat on top of those metal foot rails, but I don't know what happened to them. I just remember having to dust them and them falling off.
