    i think that this may be a very old plate. I'm hoping someone can tell me if it is. is it Asian? or not? it has a very silky smooth feeling to it and had layers of grime and hard water stains on it when i found it. it took a lot of elbow grease to clean it.

      Hi Ho2cultcha , Looks more Celadon with these pictures looks Chinese by the shape But I would post it on the gotheborg web site I am not good with Chinese pottery. But there are some really good people on that site that can help. I have a membership if you don't I can post it there for you. I just need some better pictures with natural light so as to not have the heavy shadows'and one picture with a straight on side view shot get full shape and a close up of the foot of the piece.
