I found this today at a thrift store and I reeeeaaaaaally want to know what it is. It's about 3.25' tall. Brass and wood. Not sure what kind of wood. There is a snake in the upper left hand beside chief's head and initials GV or CV bottom right beside chief's head. Does anyone has any idea what this is? Thanks in advance!

Put it in the tobacciana category, and American furniture. It is not native American made. Orient your pictures properly and SAVE them before you upload.

I love it - anything on the back of the plaque? It'sa smoking stand. And almost looks like a combo telephone table. It's great.

Thank you so much Celiene! And I'm not sure why the pics came
Up like that. They're straight up in my photos?

But yes thank you! I'm totally going to research the info you gave me!

On the back side of the indian do you see a 9819?

@foxfurniture thanks for your reply! there appears to be a 2819. Do you have any idea what that might mean? Sorry for the delayed reply. I'm only seeing it now!
