Hello, I am new to the world of collecting. I've decided to focus on the things that I truly adore, vintage jewelry. I've been doing alot of research to learn all I can about the various pieces out there , how to date and identify them and I still have a long way to go.
I was absolutely blessed to come across an estate sale , and am currently in the processing of picking up all of the pieces of vintage jewelry they have available. This was a piece that I was lucky to find in that group. After much research , I was able to determine that it is a Sherman original. I was also able to locate the signature on the inside of the bracelet, however, a portion of the signature is hard to see. All I could make out were the last 3 letters.
That is all I know, I do not know of the type of rhinestones or metal for now, any advice, feedback or comments would be greatly appreciated to help me in my endeavor. Thank you
truly a beautiful piece!
Stunner!

Hello. I am in Texas . And thank you . I am truly excited about this one. I can definitely pass this one down to my grandkids. I would love to learn more about this piece and appreciate all and any information.
Most of Sherman pieces have stayed in Canada nice to see one show up in TX . Can you photo the markings ?
Yes, I can try to get a picture of the markings.
ok good I will watch for new photo :-)
Hello
I am not sure how to add another photo. My pic of the Sherman signature is not so great..but you should be able to that it is signed on the clasp. If I can figure out how to add it.
Aurora Borealis is the finish on the rhinestones. A beauty - cuff bracelet it is called. Very nice find and looks to be in good condition. Sherman was Canada's best rhinestone jewellery and is much collected, including myself as a collector. One of Canada's best manufacturers. No need to show signature, it definitely is Sherman.
Good to see Phil showed up to help answer your questions :-) It is bling bling and I would wear it !!
Thank you Phil and Manikin. I am so excited about this one, as a new collector and I came across the daughter of a woman who was an antique collector for many years. I ended up purchasing her entire inventory and have some pieces that seem to be from the Victorian and Edwardian era as well. I am still trying to go through and research them so I can understand more. I will share them all with you. Thank you again for your assistance.
