This is my Good Housekeeping sewing machine. Picked it up at an auction for $1. Don't have much info about it but would like to know more, so if anyone has more knowledge on it, please share.

I fell in love with the name and had to have it. I am not a sew so I don't use it. It is my most favourite thing that I have collected.

      This is a great machine.
These are from the early 1960s, made in Japan and are solid as a rock. All steel case and internals, able to handle very heavy duty work. Couldn't be better for price and ability.
These were also sometimes labelled Sew-Mor.
Really easy and cheap to service. If you want to learn to sew this would be an excellent machine.
There is some info about them on the 'net, including Youtube, or find a local machine service centre and they should be able to give you the basics on threading and running.

Great looking machine. Love the mid century look.
