Japanese signed wood Netsuke monkey, found by a dumpster

This is a carved wood Japanese Netsuke monkey, about 2" tall, with signature. That's about all I know about it so any knowledge you have to share would be very welcome. I included a photo of the signature. He was found by my friend next to a dumpster in Seattle, WA along with several other interesting items I plan to post here as well.
