No makers or patents listed on this original, boxed cake decorator I gave to my mom today (she loves these kinds of things).
We were thinking maybe 1940s-1950s?

1940s/1950s. There seems to be some indecision about the actual date of issue.

I'm no expert in these, but some of the theme looks very late 1930s, and the printing looks later 1940s to early 1950s.
I would love this too!
I like these too especially with the box. And they tend to be inexpensive. 40s/50s seems reasonable to me.
My mom had one like this. Sans the box.
