Button hook marked sterling was found walking past the trash can it was sticking out of. The trash was piled leftover from a house more like a mansion that was being cleaned out so repairs could be done. The owners having a garage sale I bought many treasures that day. On my way out with my loot I see the hook. I grab it as another pile is brought to curb. I ask how much and he says help yourself. And I did. That iron star a beach find it think it was an ornate fence top or part of a ship. The metal statue of Jesus, plated once. Found at same beach. How did it get there? 1908 dog tax Sault Ste. Marie 336, found same beach. I don't want to know that story.
