Collection of metal. Found shotgun shells spent by hunters there were many apple trees in the area. Tin can key opener with rolled tin from opening a can of coffee or sardines. There are railroad tracks and a trail that runs near the lakeshore. There were hobo camps and piers for fishing boats. The ball was rusty found with others in gravel. Same area. I think their story could be the oldest. Shot from Civil War era weapons? Construction waste? Metal slag from weld maybe an eager attempt to fix a leaky boat or railcar. Tumbled pieces in rock tumbler long enough to remove debris.
