I really do love this piece, it is a large cameo pin . The base is made of Bakelite, I had it tested. The cameo itself may be made of celluloid or lucite. I don't have any other identifiers to date or markings for any designer.

Thank you Valentino97, yes, you are correct. After additional research it seems these pins are plentiful but not this shape and the cameo was largely labeled as being made of celluloid :) Thank you for your comments, I really do love this piece as well :)
